Poster Submission Rules

Deadline: July 25, 2025

As part of our congress, which aims to foster scientific knowledge sharing in the field of Traditional and Complementary Medicine (GETAT) and to present recent advancements within an interdisciplinary platform, participants intending to submit poster presentations are expected to complete their applications in accordance with the following guidelines.

1. General Rules

  • Poster submissions must be made only through the online system. Posters sent via e-mail or submitted through links will not be accepted.
  • The name, title, institutional affiliation, and contact details of the presenter must be entered into the system completely.
  • Posters must be original studies that have not been previously presented or published.
  • The submission deadline for posters is July 25, 2025. Submissions received after this date will not be considered.
  • Each participant may submit only one poster presentation.

2. Poster Preparation Guidelines

  • Posters should be prepared in portrait orientation, sized 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height), and uploaded in print-ready format.
  • If the file exceeds the upload limit, participants should use external file-sharing tools (e.g., Google Drive, WeTransfer, TransferNow) and share the download link.
  • The poster title must be written in all capital letters, in bold, and using a 44–50 pt font size.
  • Leave a 2 cm margin on the top, bottom, left, and right edges.
  • Author name(s) should be written in bold, using a 24–36 pt font size.
  • Institution name(s) should be written using a 20–28 pt font size.
  • The name of the presenting author must be underlined.
  • Section headings within the text (e.g., Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion) should be written in all capital letters, in bold, and using up to 45 pt font size.
  • The main body text should be written in 24–35 pt font size.
  • Text should be justified (aligned on both left and right).
  • Use a clear and easily readable font (Calibri, Times New Roman, Arial, or Verdana).
  • Line spacing is encouraged to improve readability.
  • References should be written in 14–18 pt, not bolded.
  • In-text citations should use superscript numbering, and all references should be listed in the reference section.
  • Visual elements (charts, tables, illustrations, images, photos) should be emphasized in presenting information.
  • There are no restrictions on color usage. All kinds of visuals (photos, graphics, drawings) are allowed.
  • Images used must be in high resolution.

3. Evaluation Process

  • All poster submissions will be evaluated by the Congress Scientific Committee.
  • Evaluation criteria include scientific content, originality, methodological appropriateness, and compliance with submission rules.
  • Acceptance letters will be sent by August 20, 2025.

4. Ethical Guidelines and Responsibilities

  • All listed authors must have contributed to the work, and appropriate ethical approval must be obtained.
  • Plagiarism must be avoided, and originality must be preserved, especially where citation is required.

5. Author Biography (Mandatory)

  • A scientific biography of the presenting author (no more than 300 words) must be uploaded with the poster submission.
  • The biography should include academic background, research areas, major publications, conference experience, and any awards received.
  • Use Times New Roman, 11 pt, with 1.5 line spacing, and follow proper paragraph formatting.
