Abstract Submission Rules

Deadline: July 25, 2025

As part of our congress, which aims to foster scientific knowledge sharing in the field of Traditional and Complementary Medicine (GETAT) and to present recent advancements within an interdisciplinary platform, participants intending to submit abstracts for oral presentations are expected to complete their applications in accordance with the following guidelines.

1. General Guidelines

  • Abstract submissions will only be accepted through the online system. Submissions via e-mail will not be considered.
  • All authors must enter their full name, title, institutional affiliation, and contact information completely and accurately in the system.
  • Abstracts must be original studies that have not been previously presented or published.
  • The deadline for abstract submission is July 25, 2025. Abstracts submitted after this date will not be evaluated.
  • Each participant may submit only one abstract as the first author.

2. Abstract Formatting Guidelines

Each abstract should be structured according to the following sections:

  • Title: Should clearly reflect the content of the study, be short and concise. Each word should begin with a capital letter, but the title should not be written entirely in capital letters, except for special cases.
  • Introduction (Objective): The aim of the study, research question, and the significance of the topic should be clearly stated. The relevance of the topic in the literature should also be indicated.
  • Materials and Methods: The methodology, sample size, research process, measurement tools, and analysis techniques should be explained in detail. For experimental studies, ethical committee approval must be specified.
  • Results: Key findings should be presented clearly and quantitatively. A concise and clear narrative style should be used.
  • Conclusion: The scientific contribution of the study, its practical implications, and recommendations should be clearly expressed.

3. Technical Specifications

  • Abstracts should be between 350 and 750 words (excluding title, author names, affiliations, tables, and figures).
  • Use Times New Roman, 11-point font size, and 1.5 line spacing.
  • Leave one blank line between paragraphs; do not indent paragraphs.
  • Abstracts must be uploaded in PDF format via the system.

4. Evaluation Process

  • All abstracts will be evaluated by the Congress Scientific Committee.
  • Evaluation criteria will include scientific content, originality, methodological appropriateness, and adherence to formatting rules.
  • Acceptance letters will be sent out by August 20, 2025.

5. Ethical Principles and Responsibilities

  • All authors listed in the abstract must have contributed to the study, and necessary ethical approvals must have been obtained.
  • Statements requiring citation must be properly referenced to avoid plagiarism and maintain originality.
  • Participants who fail to deliver their presentation may be restricted from submitting abstracts in future years.

6. Author Biography (Mandatory)

  • A scientific biography of the first author (maximum 300 words) must be uploaded along with the abstract.
  • The biography should include academic background, research areas, notable publications, conference experience, and awards (if any).
  • Use Times New Roman, 11-point font size, and 1.5 line spacing; paragraph formatting should be carefully followed.
